Terms & Conditions of entry

1. The Promotion will be conducted from Monday 17 Jan 2022 to Thursday 27 Jan 2022. Entry is open only to legal residents of Victoria who, during the promotional period, visit a Bondi Sands Sunscreen Station at the Australian Open, guess the number of tennis balls at the promotion site, visit the competition website and complete the required details on the online entry form. Failure to do so will result in an invalid entry. Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.

2. The Prize is an ultimate Australian Open experience for two (2) people including tournament admission, women’s finals ticketing and premium hospitality at Rockpool, plus a year’s supply of Bondi Sands Suncare. Winner must be available to attend the Women’s Final on 29 January 2022. The total prize pool is valued at $3,000 AUD.

3. The draw will take place on Thursday 27 January 2022 at 5PM AEDT. The winner will be notified by phone call to the telephone number supplied on their completed entry form on Thursday 27 January 2022 at 6PM AEDT.

4. If the prize winner of the Event prize has not confirmed their availability to take the prize by Thursday 27 January 2022 9PM AEDT, the prize winner’s entry will be deemed invalid. Failure to collect the Prize within this time will result in it being forfeited and the Promoter may select another winner for the Prize, subject to any approval or directions of the promoter or any relevant authority. The winner selected second must also accept the Prize within three (3) hours of being contacted. If required, this process will continue five (5) times. Should the Prize not be accepted by the fifth winner the prize will be deemed unaccepted and may not be given away.

5. Neither the Promoter nor any company or agency associated with the Event accepts responsibility for the cancellation or delay of the Event for any reason beyond their control or any inability of the winner to attend the Event when scheduled. If any part of the Event is abandoned, varied, called off or postponed for any reason, the winner and, if applicable, their companion(s), at the Promoter’s discretion, forfeits all rights to attend the event and no cash or alternative tickets will be substituted for that element of the prize.

6. The Promoter may in its absolute discretion not accept a particular entry, may disqualify an entry, or cancel the entire Promotion at any time without giving reasons and without liability to any entrants, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.

7. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. The Promoter will not be liable for any delay or damage to prizes and accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value (including between advertising of the Promotion and receipt of the prize).

8. All entries become the property of the Promoter. As a condition of entering into this Promotion, entrants agree to assign all their rights in and to their entry and any related content to the Promoter, including any copyright or other intellectual property rights in the entry and related content. Without limiting this, the Promoter may use entry content for any and all purposes including commercial purposes. You warrant that entry content is original, lawful and not misleading and that the Promoter’s use of such content will not infringe the rights of any third parties. The Promoter has no obligation to credit you as the author of any content submitted and may otherwise do any acts or omissions which would otherwise constitute an infringement of any moral rights you may have as an author of content.
