Ingredients
-
3 cups self raising flour
-
¾ cup Lemonade
-
300ml cooking cream
-
Pinch of salt
Formula
Firstly, set oven to 220 degrees Celsius. Then, sift flour and salt into a large bowl and make a well in the centre of the mix. Stir in cream and lemonade using a round bladed knife. Next, lightly dust a flat, dry surface with flour and place dough onto the surface - kneading briefly. Pat the mixture out until it is approximately 2cm in thickness then cut into rounds using a circular cutter. Be sure to lightly dust the cutter with flour to ensure the dough doesn’t stick! Then, tightly pack scone rounds, side by side on a baking tray and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden.
Hot Tip
Try to touch the scones as little as possible! Do not over mix.
