Mineral Zinc Sunscreen Recall

To our loyal Bondi Babes, following consultation with the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), Bondi Sands is recalling Batch 98182 of its Mineral Zinc Sunscreen SPF 50+ Face Lotion 60ml and Batch 98181 of its Mineral Zinc Sunscreen SPF 50+ Body Lotion 120ml.  No other batches of Mineral Zinc Sunscreen 50+ are affected by this recall.

Your safety is our number one priority. Each product developed by Bondi Sands is thoroughly tested, and all ingredients and finished formulations undergo strict compliance checks across multiple global bodies, including both TGA and FDA, to ensure that they are safe for use.  

When you apply sunscreen, the ingredients inside the medicine help to protect your skin from damage caused by ultraviolet (UV) rays from the sun. Sun Protection Factor (SPF) lets you know how well the sunscreen will protect you from the sun. Since UV rays can cause skin cancer, the protection offered by sunscreen is very important.

The liquid in the affected batches is splitting into layers, meaning the ingredients are no longer properly mixed. When this happens, the SPF of the medicine changes and may affect the level of protection.

If you have purchased this sunscreen and it is labelled with either of the batch numbers above, do not use it. Return the product to the place of purchase or contact info@bondisands.com.au with any questions.

No, the only batches that have been affected are:

The batch number is located at the top on the back of the product near the expiry date.
